Eira Swaine
Eira Swaine is Executive Director of Australian Dance Theatre. ADT is a leading contemporary dance company, renowned for creating innovative new works in collaboration with artists from a wide range of cultural and scientific domains. Eira joined ADT in 2015 as Producer & Program Coordinator and was soon after promoted to Producer & Development Manager. She has been instrumental in strategic planning for the company, driving new partnerships with other cultural organisations and institutions, increasing revenue through government grants, new corporate partnerships and philanthropic programs, growing ADT’s national and international touring, and creating innovative audience and market development activities. Eira holds a Bachelor of Laws and commenced a Masters of Arts (Museum & Curatorial Studies) at the University of Adelaide in 2018. In 2017/18 she undertook a Creative Partnerships Australia Arts Fundraising Mentorship and is a participant in the Australia Council’s 2019 Arts Leaders Program.
Australian Dance Theatre is an internationally-renowned contemporary dance company based in Adelaide. ADT is also the producer of the Adelaide Dance Festival, a biannual dance festival.
