Carrie-Rae Cunningham
Carrie Rae is an independent dance producer and presenter representing the New Zealand dance sector and community. She was Artistic Director of Tempo Dance Festival 2015 - 2018 and has worked as a producer, artistic consultant, mentor, dance reviewer and writer, filmmaker, choreographer, performer and arts strategist in New Zealand since 2003. She has worked with local dance companies and artists including Atamira Dance Company, Douglas Wright, Michael Parmenter, New Zealand Dance Company and White Face Crew as a consultant for the development of new choreographed works and projects. She was also a finalist in the 2017 Fairfax Media Women of Influence Awards in the Arts & Culture category. Carrie Rae is mom to 3 vivacious girls and loves to play Scrabble, plant tomatoes and make dance films in her kitchen.
