Alice Dixon, Caroline Meaden and William McBride work in a non-hierarchical collaboration as devisers and performers of new, unusual contemporary dance. Over four years of collaborative practice they have made and presented five original, full-length works: This is What’s Happening (presented by Speakeasy for Melbourne Fringe 2015 - winner of the Fringe Award for Best Dance and nominated for Australian Dance and Green Room awards), Fallen O’er (commissioned by Abbotsford Convent. Nominated for a 2017 Australian Dance Award), Blowin’ Up (presented by The Substation in their 2016 curated Melbourne Fringe program - winner of the Arts House Evolution Award), Let’s Go Up Here (presented by Arts House in FOLA 2018) and Lady Example (premier season presented by Next Wave and The SUBSTATION). Most recently they presented Trilogy of the Desert: Mirageat the NGV for the MEL+NYC festival.
