The Roundtables offer artists and producers the opportunity to meet with Dance Massive Delegates from Australia, Europe, North Asia and North America. You can find information about supported international delegates online here.
The Roundtable format invites artists and producers to sit on communal tables with presenters (Dance Massive delegates) for informal discussions and networking. Roundtables will be rotated 4 times during the two-hour session. Participants are asked to prepare an informal 3-minute introduction to their Roundtables on their artistic practice – this may include specific performances in development or tour-ready works.
Registrations are open to the wider Australian performing arts community but please be aware of the kinds of venues and interests of participating Dance Massive Delegates.
Artists and producers are invited to register for ONE two-hour session on either Wednesday 15 March OR Wednesday 22 March. Places at each event are strictly limited.
Wed 15 OR Wed 22 March
12 noon – 2pm
North Melbourne Town Hall
Bookings open for dance artists and producers only – from Monday 13 February
Bookings open for other performing artists and producers – from Thursday 16 February
All bookings close – Thursday 23 February
On 1 March, after registration, participants will be sent an online form to indicate the priority of the Dance Massive Delegates they would like to meet. Please ensure you provide this information by 7 March as the Australia Council and Dance Massive will curate Roundtables based on these preferences. Where possible, we will provide artists and producers with their list of meetings prior to the event.
‘Presenters meet Producers’ Roundtables are hosted by the Australia Council for the Arts, as part of Dance Massive.
