Zohar Spatz is a theatre and arts producer working within a multi-disciplinary context. Zohar is currently the Executive Producer of the Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) held in Brisbane Australia. APAM is Australia’s leading, internationally focused industry event for contemporary performing arts and its key purpose continues to be the increase of international and national touring opportunities for Australian contemporary performing arts groups and artists. APAM champions and invests in Australian Art.
Prior to APAM, Zohar’s role at Brisbane Powerhouse was as the Producer of World Theatre Festival as well as Producer of international collaborations including Indonesia Dance Company, Nan Jombang and Indian Theatre Company Abhinaya Theatre Company.
Included in her substantial working background is a highly developed Operations and Logistics expertise. Zohar spent time in North East Arnhem Land as Operation Manager of Australia’s leading cultural exchange program, Garma. Zohar worked for on The Dreaming Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival, and Edinburgh Fringe. In addition, she took part in other major events such as The Australian Open, Melbourne Food and Wine Festival and Tasmania’s Mona Foma and Commonwealth Games Cultural program Melbourne2006.
